Star Wars hot! Hobbit not!

I just heard the pretty cool news that the new computer animated Clone Wars pilot will get a theatrical release in August. While the cynic in me thinks Lucas is just wringing every dollar he can out of the saga, the thought of a new Star Wars movie on the big screen (when everyone thought Revenge of the Sith would be the last) makes me drool.

In not so cool news, The Hobbit movie(s) might not go ahead after all because New Line, who have made a habit of screwing people out of money, are being sued by the Tolkien estate. Which just confirms my belief that they really need to get rid of all the lawyers and executives in Hollywood.
